Terms of use
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply to the Beequation Pro and Beequation Kids apps ("the apps") and to beequation.com. The apps are made by Trett Labs Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17310137, The 1812 Building, Wheatley Park, Mirfield, West Yorkshire, WF14 8HE, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the apps you agree to these terms. If you got an app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Using the apps
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Teachers may also use them and our printable puzzles in their classes. Please don't copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the apps.
Free and paid features
Both apps are free to download and include free levels and a daily puzzle. Every level can be unlocked with a subscription or a Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you pay and may vary by country and change over time; a price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Subscriptions and free trials
Subscriptions are monthly or yearly and are sold and billed by Apple or Google. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before it. New subscribers may get a free trial; it becomes a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Lifetime
Lifetime is a one-off payment that unlocks every level in that app for as long as we offer the app, on any device signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account.
Promo codes and offers
Promo codes and offers (for example free months, or a code for the other app after you subscribe) are created and redeemed through Apple or Google and are subject to their terms. Codes have no cash value, can't be exchanged, may have an expiry date or a limit on how many times they can be used, and may be limited to new subscribers. When a free period from a subscription code ends, the subscription renews at the normal price unless you cancel it.
Refunds
Payments are taken by Apple or Google, so refund requests are handled by them under their policies: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play from your order history. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Children
Beequation Kids is designed for children aged 5 to 12 and should be set up by a parent or guardian. Purchases, settings and links are behind a grown-up check. See our privacy policy: the apps collect no personal data.
Changes and availability
We may update the apps and these terms from time to time; we'll change the date above when we do. We try to keep the apps working well but can't promise they will always be available or free of errors.
Liability
We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be protected by the mandatory laws of where you live.
