Maths resources for teachers

Hello, teachers! A hive works because every bee pitches in, and a maths lesson works the same way. Here are my favourite ways to get the whole class buzzing.

Practical, low-prep ideas for primary maths lessons, written by people who know how busy a school day is. Everything here follows the National Curriculum in England, works with the equipment most classrooms already have, and is free to use. Start with a five-minute starter tomorrow morning, or plan a whole lesson around reasoning.

Indie's tip

Short, regular practice of number facts pays off across every topic. Five minutes at the start of each lesson, revisiting facts from earlier in the year, keeps them fresh for when they're needed in fractions, measurement and problem solving.
